Well, I said I would never own one, but here I am, with an iPhone....

Not that they are bad, I just thought I would never need the use of 99% of the features they have.. but, my contract is about up with my provider, and with the iPhone 4 coming out (for us anyhow) the 3GS's have gotten really cheap where I love (Practically giving them away)so I decided to just pick one up and replace the old cell I had..

So far, ill admit, some of the features are pretty handy.. Mapping and contact finding is nice when you are looking for a place or want to find out a stores hours.. but there are a few downfalls from my other phone as well, like the fact the battery only lasts 1 maybe 2 days, where as my other phone went almost a week..

Oh well.. Im sure over time as i get more used to the phone ill like it more and more.. Maybe in 3 more years ill upgrade to the iPhone 4 :P

Ok, im not really a need for speed kind of guy first off, but I was sent an invite to the beta (before it was an open beta) and so I figured I would at least check it out.

My first thoughts are... well... Meh.. I mean the graphics are nice, the game controls are decent (very arcade-ish) and the city you race in is nice large... The game modes though, they are kind of limited, and you dont really interact much with the other people in the game. You can race with them and such, but aside from that, you cant bump into them or anything.

Im only level 5, so I don't have much selection on what i'm allowed to drive or purchase, so I did the only thing I could do...

Make the most hideous vehicle I could :P

I understand the desire/right to stand up for what you believe in and if you want to do that by crowding in front of a building waving your little signs and screaming out things like you know what your talking about, then by all means go ahead..

I’m not saying I agree with everything the conference stands for, or that the money spent couldn’t have been better used but common… if you expect to be at the big kid table then grow the fuck up first… The cops LET YOU destroy property while they sat and watched and when they had enough all you can do is whine your rights were violated and that there was no reason for them to beat your useless ass..

Give it up.. Also, those that were "walking your dog" when you were "innocently" rounded up and arrested.. WTF are you walking your dog through 500 protesters for in the first place? It took me a while to decide to switch to LiPo batteries on my RC cars, but now that I have I dont think ill ever run NiMH's again!

When I was just learning about them I came across a lot of decent articles that had some good information, but the majority of the content was just crap that I didnt need to know on an introduction level, or said in some technical way that made using LiPos out to be more confusing then it really is.

I decided it was time to write an actual "beginners guide to LiPo's" and include only the stuff you actualy NEED to know, and skip all of the crap you dont.
